Croatian Third Division Player Gets Bonus

Posted on: May 1, 2007

ZAGREB – A Croatian third division footballer got the shock of his life when he saw a flock of sheep waiting for him at work.

Ivica Supe, a 29-year old playing for part-timers NK Zagor, has been given 16 sheep by a local shepherd Josko Bralic also club sponsor as a bonus for the 16 goals he has scored this season.

“I was really shocked and I have no idea what to do with so many sheep because I plan to score more goals,” Supe told Croatian media.

The club’s spokesman said: “We are a very small club unable to entice another sponsor so we were delighted when Bralic offered sheep as support.” By

Betis in Bosman talks with Babic – May 02, 2007

Real Betis are closing in on a deal for Bayer Leverkusen defender Marko Babic.

The Croatia international was in Seville earlier this week for a medical and passed it with flying colours.

Babic is off contract in June and is in advanced negotiations with Betis about a Bosman move to Spain. WHATS WITH THIS?

And it’s better that Babic leaves those motherf*ckers said that it was Babic’s fault that Leverkussen lost to Osasuna wtf how can they blame one player for that? but when he playd Leverkussen was winning all matches, except against Osasuna, but now he’s a benchie Leverkussen is losing matches. There will come a day that Leverkussen coach will say that it was dumb to sell Babic.
